BILL 132: HARASSMENT AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT INVESTIGATIONS

On September 8, 2016, Bill 132 comes into force in Ontario. It requires that employers conduct ‘appropriate investigations’ into allegations of workplace harassment.

Employers can also be required to hire a third party investigator to investigate such allegations.

The Workplace Institute has delivered investigation courses to hundreds of Human Resources and other professionals engaged in workplace investigations across Canada.
